Introducing Children to the World of Nature

Konstantin Kondakov Charity Foundation continues to introduce children to the wonderful world of nature in the framework of the Road to Life for Every Child program and the Good Cause Every Day! promo event. The Marchenko family type orphanage together with the Foundation managers went on a pleasant excursion to the Kiev Zoo. The guide began her story with the origin of the capital park in which many amazing animals live, and then took the children to have a closer look at its inhabitants.

The kids saw little monkeys and large hippos, exotic birds and lizards, and also other animals which were brought here from different parts of the world.

The tour continued near mammals’ cages. The children saw bison, deer, zebras, wild horses, an elephant, a giraffe, a hippo, raccoons, and also had a look at amazing birds: peacocks, pheasants, owls and unusually beautiful flamingos! The children were delighted to learn more about the unusual animals which live on the same planet as we do!

The children were most impressed by a friendly family of bears. The little visitors curiously watched as baby-bears splashed in small ponds and played with each other!

We are convinced that the children will remember their first meeting with the world of nature for a long time and will continue to take care of our little brothers-animals, because with love in our hearts we are building a new world!
