The Sweet Dream to Every Orphanage Project Started in Ukraine!

On October 3, 2013 in the Interfax-Ukraine Agency press center held a press conference of the Konstantin Kondakov Charity Foundation held, covering the topic “In six months all Ukrainian orphanages will be provided with bed linen”.

The Ukrainian promo event named Sweet Dream to Every Orphanage is carried out in the framework of the Road to Life for Every Child program. The purpose of this action is to provide children living in orphanages with the essential things: new colorful linens, pillows, blankets, towels, etc.

The event was held with the participation of the Foundation President Natalia Kolesnik, the Presidential Commissioner on Children’s Rights in Ukraine Yuriy Pavlenko, the Director of the Vyshgorodsky orphanageMykola Dryzhak, the Deputy Head of Inclusive Education, Ministry of Education and Science Valentina Klemyuk, CEO of Yaroslav concern Aleksandra Borsuk, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Philanthropists Association of Ukraine Maryna Krysa.

A precondition of this action were numerous letters of appeal from orphanages all across Ukraine with a request to assist in replacing the old bedding; most of them came to us this summer, – says Natalia Kolesnik.

Of course, philanthropists could not ignore such a large number of similar complaints, so it was decided to launch a national campaign that aims in replacing all the bedding in orphanages throughout Ukraine. The tender was announced, according to which the Yaroslav group was announced the winner – they offered the best quality products. The timing of production was optimal for the realization of the national project.

According to the President of the Konstantin Kondakov Charity Foundation Natalia Kolesnik, by 10.03.2013 eight orphanages of Kyiv region received their bedding sets. The next step – Zaporozhye region, which will receive its bedding sets next week.
