In Kiev were Built the Bridges of Friendship


On June 3 at the J. Grether Art Center was held the
International exhibition-competition of children’s drawings Bridges of Friendship.

The exhibition was held within the framework of the Days of Ukrainian Culture in Palestine project by the Good Deeds International Charity Foundation and the Foundation for Cultural Cooperation.

Drawings on the themes Happy Childhood and Cultural Heritage of My Country created Ukrainian children from boarding schools and family-type orphanages from 10 to 14 years.

In the contest participated kids from Sumy, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Poltava and other regions of Ukraine.

 

Of the several hundred works, professional jury headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Palestine in Ukraine Mohammed Al-Asaad, selected 100 pictures, which were presented at the Art Center. In summer all these works will be shown on the joint exhibition of Ukrainian and Palestinian children in Bethlehem.

During the exhibition, visitors of the event selected the top 10, in their opinion, drawings. 10 authors received valuable prizes books, tablet, creative kits, etc. All the participants received commemorative diplomas and gifts from the organizers.

To support the international project came ambassadors of foreign countries: Malaysia, Kuwait and Romania.

The exhibition was visited by many famous guests, including Counsellor in cultural connection in Ukraine of the Embassy of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Doctor Ahmad Talhouni, actress Olga Sumska, singers Natalia Shelepnytska and Arthur Bosso, founder of the Folk Ukraine project Igor Dobrutsky etc.
