The Right to a Full Life
On October 2013, the representatives of the Rozvytok Maibutnogo Zaporizhzhya Regional Charitable Foundation applied to the Konstantin Kondakov International Charity Foundation with a proposition to support their initiative.
The Right to a Full Life is a project created to infix the rights of older people for quality education and entertainment by creating the modern conditions in the room where retirees usefully spend leisure time.
As part of the Older Generation – That’s We in the Future our foundation is not only has supported the initiative of the colleagues, but also sponsored the actual event.
It should be noted that earlier on the basis of the Melitopol local centre was organized an entertainment room which provide social and educational services for the elderly people. For adult students was opened the University of the Third Age where lectures on various topics, seminars, presentations are held. Older people also study there computer technologies that adapt them to modern life. In the Krinichka club grannies and grandpas spend holidays, organize conversations and meetings, create amateur artistic groups and clubs.
But there are a lot of open questions related to poor living conditions and lack of modern computer hardware, which affects the level of education and opportunities of the citizens.
The representatives of our Foundation understand that these classes are extremely important stimulus for future life. Therefore, we allocated funds for repair works, purchase new computer equipment, furniture and stationery for the Melitopol local center.
We believe that older generation will properly appreciate the contribution of the Konstantin Kondakov International Charity Foundation, because with love in our hearts we are building a new world!
