Children will Build Bridges of Friendship Between Ukraine and Palestine

Starts a drawing competition under the theme Children of Ukraine to the Children of Palestine, as a part of a unique international project Days of Ukrainian Culture in Palestine. The project is carried out in order to pay children’s attention to such things as cultural heritage of the country, international solidarity, formation of the concepts of friendship and respect for each other. Will be organized cultural exchange between children from Palestine and Ukraine, as well as strengthening of friendly relations and dissemination of information about Ukrainian culture.

The organizers of the creative competition are International Foundation for Cultural Cooperation and the Good Deeds ICF, with the support of the Embassy of Palestine in Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture of Palestine and the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.

Conditions for participation:

For the contest are accepted works of children from Ukrainian boarding schools and family-type orphanages, at the age 10 through 14 years.

Drawings must be drawn on the following topics:

• Happy Childhood
• Cultural Heritage of My Country

Terms of the competition:

April 15 through May 15, 2014

Works should be sent to:

100 works that will select the jury of the competition Bridges of Friendship will be exhibited at the event Days of Ukrainian Culture in Palestine, which will be held in June 2014 in Palestine.

Each participant will receive a certificate for participation and a gift from the organizers.
