Congratulations to the Winners of the IDiy! Grant

Over the weekend in Kiev the expert jury chose the winner of the All-Ukrainian competition-grant IDiy!, organized by the Konstantin Kondakov International Charity Foundation. Those who were interested in obtaining a grant from the Foundation for the implementation of socially useful ideas sent their application before 31.12.2013. Five most promising projects came from Sumy, Kiev, Lviv and Dnepropetrovsk. On January 25 all the finalists came to the Ukrainian capital, where was held the final of the competition.

According to the president of the charity foundation Natalia Kolesnik, all the projects were relevant and worthy to receive the grant. However, the expert committee consisted of: Malis Aleksandr, Chubatenko Alexander, Novgorodskaya Elena, Kayumova Elena, Malyh Eugenia, Spodin Andrew and Litovchenko Vlada chose the best, in their opinion, idea. Determination of a perspective project was accompanied by a stormy debate of the jury members that finally decided on the winner.

Thus, the grant from the Konstantin Kondakov International Charity Foundation on the amount of 50,000 UAH won the Na Chasi Lviv initiative group, which activity is aimed at implementation of innovative educational projects.

A spokeswoman of the Lviv project group adequately presented her startup. The girl proved in practice the importance of establishing an online social platform Diya v Ukraini that will help to implement different ideas and is the environment where it is possible to gather the necessary information, to find like-minded people and the required resources.

In parallel with the expert jury, users of social networks also chose the winner. There a favorite became the project called URNA by the Dnepropetrovsk Humanities Centre AHALAR. A project manager of the group received a modern tablet as a gift from the organizers of the contest.

All the finalists were also awarded by the gift certificates from the prize partner of the event — the Inten International Education Centre.
