The World of Music for the Older Generation

The Konstantin Kondakov Charity Foundation presented unforgettableDays of Myroslav Skoryk Music event to the residents and visitors of the Ukrainian capital. The festival of the famous Ukrainian composer was held from September 13 to October 13, 2013 in Kiev.

Thanks to the support of the Foundation more than 20 elderly people could spend a cultural evening and listen to music of M. Skoryk performed by musicians of the National Music Academy of Ukraine named after P.I. Tchaikovsky.

In addition to instrumental tracks, on this day pathetic folklore melodies sounded, decorated with the inimitable vocals of People’s Artist of USSR, laureate of the Taras Shevchenko State Prize and the Hero of Ukraine Nina Matvienko. Ovations of hundreds of spectators, for half an hour standing with applauses emphasize the uniqueness and the high level of the Days of Myroslav Skoryk Music international festival.

We are very pleased that older people were not only able to join the art and get gifts from the Konstantin Kondakov Charity Foundation , but also spent a wonderful evening in communion with each other. How important it is do not forget sharing our warmth and attention with the older generation.
