Modeling of Polymer Clay
Polymer clay (or plastic) is one of the most popular materials for creativity. Everyone has already seen a variety of souvenirs and ornaments made of this material. For a multi-child Yanovsky family the Konstantin Kondakov Charity Foundation organized an entertaining lesson on polymeric self-hardening clay molding. The workshop was held in the framework of theGood Cause Every Day! promo event and took place in the Den’ Tvoreniya art studio.
At the creative lesson the Yanovsky family made different toys. The master showed the children the specifics of plastics.
She said that it is safe for children, but it is still necessary to follow the certain precautions. The polymer clay looks and feels like plasticine, the only difference is that it dries out on the air during the day.
The children were very interested in molding and creating unique crafts. Under the guidance of an experienced teacher the kids made their own fun cats, cute little pandas and beautiful flowers. At the end of the interactive session each child had a great souvenir for friends and relatives.
