Magical Four Days in the Golden Lion City

This year’s Golden Lion at the Street – 2013 International Festival will be remembered forever by many of its fans as unrivaled spectacle of street theater from the Czech Republic, Poland, Belarus, Portugal and ,of course, Ukraine!

The Konstantin Kondakov Charity Foundation supported the main theatrical event of this fall and warmed its guests with care, treating with tasty vegetarian biscuits and ginger tea. During two days the charity staff was working in the festival heart.

The festival program was extremely eventful: from performances to the circus program. Surprizes were waiting for the youngest viewers, for whom a positive festive atmosphere was created by Enano clown from Portugal. Also at the the Rynok square slot attractions for parents and children were working with clowns from VAHABUNDA Krakow theater.

Once again Teatr Novogo Fronta from the Czech Republic visited the festival. Its expressive and extremely dynamic rhythm performances were positively reviewed by critics, and two years ago the theater received the Grand Prix at the FRINGE Edinburgh Theatre Fest.

Domestic theatergoers were represented by a team of the “Voskresenie” Lviv Theatre with the “Bal Geniya” play. By the way, the idea for the play was the work of the famous Galician sculptor – Ivan Pinsel .

Basing on the positive experience of working with the organizing committee, the Konstantin Kondakov Charity Foundation will be happy to join the organization of the unique theatrical event – the Golden Lion International festival also the next year.
