Excursion to the Factory of Christmas Toys

The Klavdievskaya factory of Christmas-Tree decorations has been operating for over 60 years and is the oldest of its kind in Ukraine. On the eve of winter holidays the Konstantin Kondakov International Charity Foundation decided to bring some joy to kids from single-parent, low-income and multi-child Kiev families, inviting them to the factory of Christmas decorations.

The excursion was organized as a part of the Good Cause Every Day!promo event.

On the Klavdievskaya factory the young guests visited several manufacturing sections and immersed into a fairy atmosphere of creation of Christmas decorations.

In the glass-blowing section everyone saw how of a glass bulb appears Christmas toy. The glass is heated to 600 degrees and skilled glass-blowers blow toys of various shapes and sizes. But, most of all the boys and girls liked to be in art section. There toys get different designs and patterns. The talented artists happily showed the little guests secrets and nuances of painting techniques.

At the end of excursion, the Museum of Christmas-Tree decorations has opened its doors for the children. There everyone saw the latest achievements in the Christmas toys industry. The guests from Kiev were also showed various techniques of making and painting Christmas toys.

A fascinating excursion to Klavdiyevo, organized by the team of the Konstantin Kondakov International Charity Foundation, will bring happy memories and positive emotions to the children. For those results, with love in our hearts we are building a new world!
