History of the Foundation began in 2005. That year its founders being young people realized that part of their efforts and the vital energy must be directed to charity, providing assistance to those who really need help.
So in 2005 in the city of Melitopol Zaporozhye region Charitable Foundation began its existence, headed by a well-known Ukrainian businessman Konstantin Kondakov.
For seven years the foundation’s management has developed a clear vision and understanding of what needs to be done to get the maximum positive effect. As a result in 2012 the charitable foundation gained international status and moved its administrative center to the capital of Ukraine - Kiev.
2012 was a very important year for the foundation as this is the year it was decided to create a new website and sources of funding were found, which allowed to implement state-level projects.
Looking for effective ways for implemention of positive changes in Ukraine, the founders of the charity organization formed a list of long-range objectives in accordance with which the activities of the charity foundation are hold. The activities are aimed at improving the living standards and the emotional state of Ukrainian citizens. According to the foundaion employees, changing the material and spiritual condition of people will eliminate the causes of most social problems, reveal the inner potential of Ukrainian society and transmit to the development of promising areas of activity today. And it is - the future of our country and our children!
The priorities of the charity foundation include the support of Ukrainian nation creativity (particularly in the sphere of information technologies), the revival of spiritual values, cultural development of adoption, support of orphanages, the development of the Ukrainian economy.
Founders have decided to focus the work of charity organization on social issues not taking into consideration tasks related to medicine and health care, political and religious issues. Thanks to this strategy, the effectiveness of the charity foundation’s projects is many times greater than initial expectations. However, the foundation's management plans to continue to building of global scale charity actions.
In 2014 the Konstantin Kondakov International Charity Foundation was renamed to the Charitable organization "The Good Deeds International Charity Foundation" According to the head of the non-profit organization Natalia Kolesnik: "Development of the activities of our Foundation has reached a stage where it was necessary to change the strategy. We do not want the fruitful work of our team, all charitable projects to be considered simply PR-activities of our founder. Good deeds are not just words, they are our lifestyle, our mission. The new name is intended to emphasize the wealth of experience in implementing the fund socially useful projects. It will be definitely a perfect match to what we do every day. The name change will be a new step of the development of our organization, a symbol of new achievements, new ideas and projects!"
Our charity foundation is constantly expanding its partner base and invites new companies to participate in
large-scale charity projects.
