XХІ ICYS-2014
This year four Ukrainian students won the opportunity to represent our country at the International Conference of Young Scientists ICYS, which took place in Belgrade (Serbia). The International Conference ICYS is an annual individual competition in physics, mathematics, computer science and ecology for students aged 14-18. This year, representatives of 15 countries fought for the victory. The trip of the young Ukrainian researchers initiated the National Center Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Ukraine Institute of Gifted Child, with the support of the Konstantin Kondakov ICF.
For several months Viktor Kurylenko, Vlad Dyuba, Lidiya Zakharuk and Olga Pashkovska were preparing for competition: translated their works into English, prepared their speeches, learned principles of effective scientific discussion, participated in psychological trainings.
As a result, the young Ukrainians brought home a deserved bronze medals in physics and ecology, as well as a special award in computer science.
We congratulate the students with victory and wish them to reach new heights and acquire new knowledge!
