Wonderful World of Decorative Art

A lot of kids love fairy tales and cartoons about pirates. After all, lives of these marine explorers are full of exciting adventures and unforgettable journeys. Mostly every child dreams to go back to the history and touch the fabulous pirate treasures! As a part of the Good Cause Every Day!promo event by the Konstantin Kondakov Charity Foundation the children from low-income Kiev families could plunge into the wonderful world of decorative art.

With the artists of the Azur creative studio the guys with their own hands turned ordinary caskets into original pirate souvenirs.

The workshop was also attended by the representatives of the Kyiv City Center of social services for families, children and youth who wanted to exchange the experience with the Charity Foundation.

At the very beginning everyone degreased glass surface and then painted their creations with a texture pastes, contoured and acrylic paints. Someone drew the sea and sand on a box, the others depicted different marine inhabitants. Since the workshop was devoted to the pirate subject, the caskets were decorated with old coins, seashells and a variety of “treasures”. The professional artists paid attention to every young visionary.

Everyone who visited the creative workshop spent time with benefit and created a “pirate box” that will be a great decoration and a surprise for friends. After all, with love in our hearts we are building a new world!
