We Visited the Cossack Capital of Ukraine
On February 15, 2014 was held a significant event in the world of volunteering — representatives of Ukrainian public organizations exchanged experience on the BarCamp forum. The event was held with the direct support of the Konstantin Kondakov International Charity Foundation. In the BarCamp participated representatives of the national initiative organizations of Starokonstantinov (Khmelnitsky region), Marganec (Dnipropetrovsk region), Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson, Kiev, Belaya Tserkov, Melitopol (Zaporozhye region) and Zaporozhye. Activists from Nikolaev and Lvov also sent their work to the project.
During the seven hours the participants of the forum represented their best social projects, discussed the current situation on charity in Ukraine, shared ideas and plans for the future, and also tried to develop common ideas for the further implementation of local and national non-profit public initiatives.
The representatives of the Konstantin Kondakov ICF also attended the charity forum where shared with all the guests of the event their experience and plans for the future.
But the BarCamp was not the last place of our destination in the Cossack capital of Ukraine. On February 17was organized a meeting of the Kiev benefactors with local authorities, heads of public and charitable organizations of the region, as well as media representatives.
The visit to Zaporozhye has been very productive, because we presented the activities of our foundation, and most importantly, got the support of regional non-governmental organizations for further cooperation and joint charity projects, – summarized the President of the Konstantin Kondakov International Charity Foundation Natalia Kolesnik.
