Soft Toys for the Kids

Everyone’s childhood cannot be imagined without soft toys! Psychologists say that every child over three years old must have his or her own fluffy toys. And it should be made of different materials, because every kid will “explore” a toy. As part of the Good Cause Every Day! promo event by the Konstantin Kondakov International Charity Foundation we decided to involve children from multi-child Kiev families to create a soft toy with their own hands. Currently in the stores all of us can find any interactive entertainments. But it’s much more interesting to make it yourself.

Before the New Year’s eve the teacher Tatiana invited all the kids to make funny horse – a symbol of 2014 year. The original horses were made of bright-orange plush fabric and decorated with ribbons.

The workshop showed that sewing develops creativity, attention, and it is useful for fine motor skills. The children learn how to handle a needle and thread, and it will be handy later in life.

The cute horse can be presented to relatives or friends for the New Year. This original thing also can decorate a child’s room interior, becoming a great adding to a warm and cozy atmosphere.
