MAS for the EcoNation

Recently opened a division of ecology and agricultural sciences of a III phase of the All-Ukrainian competition-defence of MAS of Ukraine.

About the competition: Ukrainian competition-defence of research works of students-members of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is one of the leading events of the MAS. The contest is held for the purpose of spiritual, creative and intellectual development of children and creation of the conditions for the formation of intellectual potential of the nation.

With regards of successful performance and new scientific advances to the children spoke the President of the Minor Academy of Science Stanislav Dovhyi; the Head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University Dmitry Loukashov; Director of the National ecological-naturalistic centre for students Vladimir Verbitsky; members of the jury and the subject commission.

Vladislav Shelokov – a coordinator of the EcoNation competition for environmental works of pupils, students and industry professionals, also expressed hope for the good results of students’ projects. The project aims to positively change the environmental situation in the world and promote the development of scientific potential of young scientists in the field of environmental protection and ecological activities.

On the same day in the walls of the Leader camp in Pushcha-Vodytsia was organized a solemn opening of departments of computer science and engineering of the MAS competition-defense. The young IT specialists were also interested to get acquainted with the new competition of environmental projects EcoNation. Whose winner will receive grant in the amount of  50 000 UAH.

Thus, all participants of the competition-defence of the MAS will be able to not only show their theoretical knowledge, but also to make a practical contribution to the development of environmental technologies and the betterment of society as a whole.
