Elegant Brooches Made of Wool

Wool felting is a very interesting and ancient technique with a help of which you can create pictures, toys, décor items, bags and unusual accessories (bracelets, necklaces, earrings, brooches). As a part of the Good Cause Every Day! promo event the Konstantin Kondakov International Charity Foundation cares about socially disadvantaged families in Ukraine. Recently, single mothers from Kiev were invited to spend their leisure time and learn how to make unique wool brooches. An international organization the Health Right International supported the initiative of the Charity Foundation.

Together with a teacher Tatiana the women created brooches in a dry felting technique. The guests of the art class liked to work with this natural material because of its plasticity and pliable qualities. During the event the girls chose the color of wool, discussed design and made accessories with a great pleasure. On the creative workshop prevailed friendly atmosphere and mothers’ faces glowed with happy smiles.

The Konstantin Kondakov International Charity Foundation is sure that young mothers received useful skills that they can easily pass on to their children. For such results with love in our hearts we are building a new world!
