From Kiev to the Tropics!

Within the Smile Makes Everyone Happier program and the Good Cause Every Day! promo event the Konstantin Kondakov Charity Foundation organized an educational excursion at a banana farm, which is located in the Rozhny village. The multi-child Dudka family could not even imagine that in Kiev they would find a piece of the tropics. And, as it turned out, the exotic place was so close.

After a warm meeting with the farm owner we found ourselves in the wonderful world of exotic fruits. All trees and plants are located within two greenhouses. In the first one the citrus trees “live”, unusual for our country Maria berry, a naranjilla plant and a tea tree. In the second greenhouse there are banana trees, the varieties of which have been developed by the owner of the farm: the “Kiev banana”, the “dwarf” and the “super-dwarf.” It was there that the children ate bananas, which they had ripped off the tree themselves.

The trip greatly impressed not only the young participants of the trip, but also the adults. We were surprised by the interesting stories about the fruits. It turns out that citrus trees are good for the organism and improve health. So this day all members of the large Dudka family could expand their knowledge in the field of botany, and also significantly strengthen their immune system. Such multifaceted projects, of course, are a priority for our foundation, because with love in our hearts we are building a new world!
