The “On the wings of peace” workshop

On February 26 at the J. Grether Art Center within the “Bridges of Friendship” project, will be held the “On the Wings of Peace” workshop for the children of immigrants from the east of Ukraine. The event is organized by the Good Deeds International Charity Foundation.

Now in Ukraine there are not peaceful events that concern every citizen of our country. However, children became the most vulnerable and receptive audience. The “Bridges of Friendship” project creates necessary conditions for cultural communication between children from different countries. It also is aimed to prevent the spread of aggression, as well as contribute to a positive perception of the world.

On the workshop children from the eastern regions of Ukraine will take part in the creation of felt brooches in the form of birds, as well as write letters with their own wishes of peace for the children from other countries. Works of Ukrainians will be sent to China, Xiamen.
