The Caring Holiday in the Nursing Homes

Our foundation makes people happier in many ways. Spring is the season, when everyone wants to share warmth and affection with others. This year, under the specific weather conditions, all people in our country need warm and positive emotions even more than ever. There are people for whom a few minutes of attention – from anyone, even a stranger – are a festive event and a pleasant memory for many months. They have put all their effort into work, in making the future wonderful, which now is now a reality for us.

And we are reaping the fruits of this work today. Due to the certain circumstances, these lovely and kind people, who deserved the title of veteran workers, now live in special dorms, and have a rare luck to see  other people, except for their neighbors.

This is why as a part of the Good Cause Every Day! promo event the members of our foundation took the arrival of spring in their hands, and with armfuls of roses went to share warmth and attention with Evrodom and Labor Veterans Care Home residents and workers.

Such happiness, boundless gratitude and joy, which brightened the faces of elderly people, are the best signs of the foundation’s work relevance. Words that could convey the emotional state of our dear veterans of labor, when guests came to see them and even brought flowers, cannot be found in the business language of the press-release. Old ladies, holding flowers, bloomed themselves, some of them looked helpless and happy, and the others cast their thoughts back into the times, when they were young… While welcoming the guests, they felt better and enthusiastically opened the doors to let the unexpected guests in.

Attention and love work wonders. This is the wealth that we always possess, enough to share with others. So let’s be generous, open-minded and thoughtful. After all, with love in our hearts we are building a new world!
