Quest Tour Along Kiev

Now, during the time of changes, many people are interested in the question, what the future prepared for us? Experts believe that in order to foresee this, you must first be familiar with the history and use this experience. That is why as a part of the Road to Life for Every Child program and the Good Cause Every Day! promo event the Konstantin Kondakov Charity Foundation organized an educational excursion for multi-children families to the most important historical places in Kiev.

Since children prefer to get the information in the game form – the excursion was arranged in the form of a quest. Visiting different places of our city, the children found them on the map, and marked with special pictures, thus making their route. Our adventure began in the T.G. Shevchenko park and passed through the main streets of Kiev: Vladimir, Zolotovorotskaya, the Shevchenko boulevard, Sophia Square.

The families were able to learn the history of important buildings that were constructed during the 1500 years. A nice bonus for the kids was a visit to the relatively new, but very famous Kiev monuments: of the Patyusha Cat in the Zolotovorotsky park and the Hedgehog in the Fog sculpture.

As the famous aphorism says: to predict the future it is necessary to know the past. In order to develop a bright future in which our children will feel comfortable and confident, today we take care of teaching them the history of their hometown. After all, with love in our hearts we are building a new world!
