On April 4 in Cherkasy was held a presentation of the Centre of Social Initiatives Making the World a Better Place by the Good Deeds International Charity Foundation. At a meeting with representative of the foundation was present a director of the Cherkasy centre of social services for family, children and youth Sklyarenko T.
Professionals of the centre of social services and teachers of the Cherkasy National University named after Bogdan Khmelnitsky also visited the event.
A lecturer presented the foundation and told everyone how to become a volunteer of the Centre. The participants were very interested in receiving current information on the topic and asked many questions: "How can I be trained at the Center?", "How to create social initiatives?" etc.
At the end of the meeting, which was held in a friendly atmosphere, representatives of Cherkasy National University offered to conduct trainings of volunteers at their university, as well, as create social initiatives.
Thus, in the future it is planned to conduct training of volunteers of the Centre of Social Initiatives Making the World a Better Place in Cherkassy and constantly interact with the local social services.
