Segway Walk

Every year more and more ways of having fun and great spending time outdoors appear. In 2001 the world first heard the mysterious word “segway”, and today, with the support of the A Sound Mind in a Sound Body program and the Good Cause Every Day! promo event the large Proskurko family gladly agreed to ride this amazing and unusual vehicle! The Foundation together with the large family spent an unforgettable day cycling on segways around the Mariinsky Park.

Since the device can reach speed of up to 20 kilometers per hour, the children were able to study the most remote and beautiful corners of one of the most beautiful Kiev parks. It is necessary to admit that the Segway driving requires some dexterity, but the guys showed the highest class and had fun racing and rolling down from the hills. Their mom did not stay far behind quickly and precisely controlling the rather unusual transport.

Despite the fact that segways simplify motion, like a bicycle it requires a certain physical effort. It was not a great surprise that in an hour drive the whole family was tired, but incredibly satisfied. As the mother of the family said none of the children even knew that there was such a miracle. Which means that we were able to make one more family happy. After all, with love in our hearts we are building a new world!
