A Perfect Festival Was Held In Slovyansk!

The Konstantin Kondakov International Charity Foundation always supports positive ideas and opens new opportunities for young Ukrainians! As a part of the Increasing Financial and Computer Literacy program we offered boys and girls from 12 to 16 years to be initiative and without any adults plan their perfect holiday. In turn, the foundation promised to allocate funds in the amount of 10,000 UAH to the embodiment of childhood fantasies. We always fulfill our promises, so from more than 50 applications the lucky winner was chosen!

It is a sixteen year old Akincha Valeria from Slovyansk, Donetsk region, who is an active participant in the city’s public youth organization Student Theatre «7 Etazh». The girl did not only come up with the original idea of the New Year holiday for all the kids of the city and calculated its budget, but also assisted in the organization of the cultural event.

At the Valeria’s ideal holiday all the city’s children, particularly the children from socially disadvantaged families could feel the real Christmas fairytale! The audience enjoyed the bright and instructive performances, as well as visited the Workshop of Santa Claus. For the young visitors worked the funny creative stations: Handmade Christmas Toy, where children together with a fabulous Snowman with their own hands made the original Christmas decorations, Chocolate workshop where, together with a Fairy boys and girls beautified cookies with chocolate icing, New Year’s masquerade, where on the smiling faces of the children master put funny face paintings etc. Especially the young guests liked magic maze and a children’s disco with real prizes and sweepstakes. At the end of the holiday, each kid received a great mood and sweet gifts from Santa Claus.
