Seminar of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine

On July 15, 2014 Vladislav Shelokov, a board member of the Good Deeds International Charity Foundation participated in the seminar of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.

The topic of seminar was: Distribution of Social Services in the Context of Decentralization and Transparency of its Supply , which took place in Kiev.

Present at the meeting vividly discussed topic of reforming the system of social services and its implementation in the country.

In addition to other topics, also were examined activities of boarding schools, local social services centers, their further development according to the reform, taking into account the European experience.

The representative of the Foundation told the audience about the promotion of the national adoption, as well as the specifics of the development and implementation of joint projects of public organizations and charities with the Ministry of Social Policy.

Between funds and especially authorities shouldn’t be competition. We must unite our efforts for the successful implementation of the pressing issues facing us today, – says Vladislav Shelokov.

He also called for cooperation with the Foundation Heads of services for children with the aim to a speedy solution to overcome the issue of orphans in Ukraine.
