Decoupage of Birdhouses

Decoupage is an extremely popular applied craft nowadays. This decorative technique implies cutting different images from paper and gluing them to different surfaces. For the children from a multi-child Fisochenko family the Konstantin Kondakov Charity Foundation organized a creative lesson on decoupage of birdhouses. The workshop was held as a part of the Good Cause Every Day! event of the Foundation and took part in the Den’ Tvoreniya art studio “.The children had a unique opportunity to make the beautiful houses for birds with their own hands.

The creative lesson was in a warm atmosphere. The teacher told everyone that the decoupage is also called a “tissue technique” because beautiful patterns are usually cut from napkins. After a little creative review the children were happy to start their work. All the kids have successfully coped with the task, and at the end everyone got a little house as a present.

The original birdhouses will  look beautiful for many years and will remind the children about the happy moments of creativity, along with all the friendly family! All the kids were happy to spend fun time with family and went home with wonderful carvings.
