Experts Suggest to Refuse Boarding Schools

On November 20, 2013 a meeting devoted to campaign “Open doors to children” was held in Kiev. This campaign is initiated by the International Charity Organization “Hope and Home for Children”.

Representatives of the Konstantin Kondakov International Charity Foundation were also invited. The main goal of this project is to consolidate the efforts of the society in oder to implement systemic changes in social policy, which should lead to a rejection from boarding schools.

A well-known fact – every child needs a family, it is better to develop the abilities of child individually, originating the sense of love and respect.

The Ombudsman for Children under the President of Ukraine Yuriy Pavlenko attended the event, which indicates the fact that public authorities pay great attention to this problem.

The Konstantin Kondakov International Charity Foundation supports the main idea of this project, since the concept of the campaign “Hope and Homes for Children” is fully consistent with our The Road to Life for Every Child international charity program. In the nearest future the fund will offer cooperation in line with the social campaign “Open doors to children” for its more effective implementation on the territory of Ukraine.
