Children Discover Space Mysteries

Our charity foundation continues to arrange fascinating excursions to Kiev ATMASFERA 360 spherical movie-theater under the Smile Will Brighten It All program and the Good Cause Every Day! promo event. In one of the previous publications we have already mentioned the peculiar cinema, located in Kiev Planetarium. This time the foundation staff helped the children from the Makhovy family to discover the secrets of the universe and space.

The children found themselves in a dark, full of mysteries planetarium hall and saw the huge realistic images of nebulae, planets and stars on the spherical ceiling with a bewitching sound accompaniment.

They learned the story about the origin of our universe and about the solar system structure not just from textbooks, but like real explorers who were inside the “Big Bang”. At shows like these kids do not just watch – they really feel as if they were space travellers, flying between fragments of asteroids and distant planets.

Once again we saw that kids love learning and are eager to do it, and to comprehend the unknown! This genuine joy is impossible to put into words – it can only be expressed with smiles and children’s ringing laughter. After the show the enthusiastic faces of our young viewers told us more than words could say. As it turned out, even such a difficult subject as astronomy, can be easily turned into a fabulous journey, a flow of positive emotions, which the kids will preserve for years. Knowing this makes us very happy, because with love in our hearts we are building a new world!
