Film Festival with the Foundation’s Support

On October 5-6, in the building of Korolenko Poltava National Pedagogical University with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, as well as the Konstantin Kondakov Charity Foundation a Poltava-Doc festival of documentary films was held. Everyone could come and appreciate the works of cinematic art amateurs. This year the jury had to choose the best ones among 26 films by 21 directors in two main categories: “Man and Nature” and “The Art of Living” At the end of the festival the best works were chosen, the authors have been awarded prizes by the Foundation.

First of all, it is the movie by Dmitry Volk – I v Krapli Vidobrazytsya Okean about the amazing process of turning a single drop of water into an ocean. This work won first place in the category “Man and Nature”.

In the  “Art of Living” category the best film was Kriz’ Porozhnechu by Arthur Aroyan and Stepan Dyachenko. It covers the urgent question of the destruction of one of the prominent landmarks of Poltava – the Poltava Cadet Corps building. In addition some authors have been awarded special prizes from the jury – Dmitry Volk for his video I v Krapli Vidobrazytsya Okean and Nicholay Toryanik – Kryshtaleva Kazka. Our Foundation congratulates all the participants of the festival, wishes inspiration and new perspective works! After all, with love in our hearts we are building a new world!
